 Editor's Note: IGFA is a nonprofit membership supported conservation and record keeping organization, founded in 1939, with members in over 120 countries. The association's headquarters are in the 60,000 square foot IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum in Dania Beach, Florida.
The 2008 championship will highlight IGFA's sponsoring a tournament series, As a qualifying event, each tournament participant will receive a one-year membership in IGFA. There is no doubt that it will be an exciting event that will attract international interest.
