If you want to celebrate a special day, the Aliante Casino, Hotel and Spa is perfect! Located in N. Las Vegas, it is one of the finest off Strip properties for fine farm fresh dining, accommodations, and most of all, service.
It was my husband’s birthday weekend. This prominent date in history needed an extraordinary place to party. The Aliante Hotel and Casino was our perfect choice.
The Aliante is a luxurious, welcoming, and the dining experiences are off the charts. I loved the fact that we were secluded away from the fray of the Las Vegas Strip. Yet the allure and glamour of the property still gave us the electricity of excitement we crave.
The contemporary resort lobby welcomed us with beautiful art work, polished floors, and pristine contemporary decor. The Aliante felt luxurious and exclusive. The desk clerk greeted us with a warm graciousness usually reserved for royalty. I smiled with excitement. I had scored a winner by choosing the Aliante for his birthday destination.
Our room was the perfect place to escape for this private party. Room service delivered a pewter ice bucket and placed the appropriate bottle of champagne to chill. I made reservations at the Market Grill for dinner and decided to freshen up. The bathroom was every woman’s dream. The oversized rain shower with bench was a tinplating spa experience. The thick oversized lush Aliante robes made me feel cozy and relaxed. The modern vanity with 2 x 5 side lit mirror was perfect for primping and applying my “going out date night” make-up. The over-head cam lighting gave me that special glow.
Our room was beautiful. The floor to ceiling ten foot high windows were elegantly draped with see through chiffon sheers bordered by deep gold black out drapes. Those would come in handy tomorrow morning when we would treat ourselves to sleeping in late. The crisp white bedding with 800 thread count sheets graced the king size platform bed. Celery green satin pillows with orange accents were welcoming to the touch. It all looked so enticing but experiencing this night luxury would have to wait until after our dinner repast. The room was so quiet and insulated it felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. Nice touch I thought.
Our royal treatment continued as we entered the MRKT Sea & Land restaurant. The posh upscale atmosphere was elegant. The restaurant was richly decorated in hues of browns, tans, and pastels, with romantic indirect lighting. The service was impeccable. The menu was tantalizing and extensive. My husband never stopped smiling the whole evening. He devoured the lump crab cocktail appetizer. While I daintily savored every morsel of the succulent Jumbo Crab Cake. We ordered a plate of deviled eggs because it reminded us of our many family get-togethers. They were superb!
Since it was my husband’s birthday and his favorite soup is Lobster Bisque, he treated himself to their steaming signature dish. Tasty morsels of lobster with the lobster broth were out of this world. My husband said he would come back to the Aliante just for the Bisque.
The dinner feast continued with a MRKT chopped salad that we shared. But with our entree’s we truly splurged. I ordered Surf and Turf which was moist, juicy and memorable. I can still remember the taste of the filet mignon being tender and juicy and the hollandaise sauce was prepared to perfection. The lobster was the sweetest and meatiest I’ve ever had! My husband ordered the bone-in rib-eye and was thoroughly elated with his choice.
The side dishes were over the top. The asparagus was fresh and perfectly steamed. The onion strings were indulgent. The sautéed spinach left me wishing that we had discovered this place for my birthday.
Their wine list is extensive. Their martinis were a celebration all to themselves. Every moment felt like we were unwrapping a gastronomical foody gift. The evening culminated in a birthday dessert of a giant chocolate ice cream sundae for the birthday boy and cheesecake with chocolate truffles. My husband said he’d never had a dinner quite as extraordinary. I was happy that we only were a few minutes away from that gorgeous king size bed.
The gaming at the hotel is intimate with plenty of tables and slots to keep the fun for the gambler lively and entertaining. We didn’t have much luck at the slots but that didn’t diminish the evening’s festivities. The casino also offers bingo and a sports book. The ambiance and sophistication of the hotel made us both feel that we had discovered quite a treasure.
Believe it or not we were hungry for breakfast the next morning. The Farm Restaurant 24-7 is noted for their fresh ingredients; the fabulous service was outstanding. Fresh off-the-farm orange juice with fresh farm eggs and steaming hot coffee made the morning just as succulent as the night before. It was such a pleasure to breakfast at a restaurant that was so proud of the menu and all the ingredients that were purchased to serve their guests. Again, the service was over the top. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They provided the intimacy and warmth of a bed and breakfast venue in an opulent hotel/casino environment. I want to go back and try the rest of their fare of burgers, meatloaf, and chicken fried steak whenever I have a craving for a delicious meal. We loved our breakfast especially because we didn’t have to awake with any roosters crowing.
We didn’t get a chance to see the night life, but the resort has fantastic entertainers that perform monthly. And the cine plex movie theatre is one of the best in Vegas. Next time we want to make time to enjoy their full service RE:LAX spa for the warm stone massage therapy.
The resort is located in the fast growing town of North Las Vegas, and offers stay, play, and spa packages, and dinner and movie packages. Visit their website for additional packages at www.aliantegaming.com. The resort offers Executive, Presidential, and Ambassador Suites, Deluxe King and twin Queen rooms; their Bed and Breakfast packages includes a $50 in room credit. The Aliante is close to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and they even have a NASCAR package.
The birthday celebration was a huge success. We were pampered with the best service, opulent surroundings, scrumptious meals, and a memory that will last at least until his next birthday.
