General Banner info: Banner ads run at the top and bottom of each page or within the featured stories of Jetsetters Magazine or within a booking engine, such as hotels of that section. There are 2 basic approaches to banners with 2 different goals in mind:

Micro Button Ad: 88 pixels x 31 pixels.

Banner File Size: 40k maximum with less than 3 rotations

Interstitial Specs: Interstitial elements fill an area in the center of the screen that is a solid color. They are no larger than 320 x 240 pixels and the total file size is 10k

Graphic Formats Accepted: Gifs, JPEGs, PNG, Flash, Enliven, Java, JavaScript - (Where appropriate include accompanying html or low resolution alternative).

Alternate Text - Provide alternate text for banner ads. This is the text that is seen when a mouse cursers over a banner graphic.

All features that you choose that are listed in Basic Banner Service, plus a "featured" listing, advertorial or editorial story or link in Jetstreams.com newsletter or Jetsetters Magazine, within articles appropriate to the property, product, destination, tour, specialty activity or geographical region, and most applicable to your type of service or business. You receive additional banners within the advertorial or editorial and it is keyword indexed and metatagged for the search engines.

You receive a minimum guaranteed one (1) banner ad placement within the Jetsetters Magazine feature story for as many feature stories that you contract, and banners can be transferred each month to a different Jetsetters Magazine feature article for an additional $100 per feature. We can write and create and produce a compelling advertorial listed in Jetsetters Magazine archives for one year, and searchable by the search engines. The article will have it's own unique URL for search engine indexing purposes.

You can pick geographical regions for your banner ad feature stories or advertorial, such as the Caribbean, or specific areas in a region, such as Jamaica.

For static web classified ads this searchable service is ideal for: Condo Listings, Vacation Listings, Home Rentals, Motorhome Rentals, Boat Rentals, Villas, Coupons, Auctions, Travel Ticket Exchanges, Traveling Companions, Home Trades, and other categories. All are acceptable in our classified section. $99 per year for up to 600 words. Pictures or graphics or banner up to 40k - $30 additional per year. You can change your ad monthly, quarterly, half year for $20 per change. You can change your ad after the first month. Travel Companion Classified Ads are free.

Special marketing needs, such as driving a classified ad to a search engine is $55 per hour minimum. Classified Ads placed in our newsletter add $20/thousand subscribers, $500 minimum to a target opt-in clientele. A link from a Jetsetters Magazine feature story to a classified ad is $200 per year.

Jetstreams can customize and design your own restaurant, hotel, travel, tour, or other electronic coupon for your business so that viewers and users of jetstreams.com and Jetsetters Magazine and our monthly travel newsletter. can download your special bargains.

Design fee is a one time charge of $500 for a regular interactive downloadable coupon that can be printed by the user. Call for more complex coupon rates.

The coupon should have an expiration date and control number. You can create on-going promotions with an adjusted expiration date. If there is a new design change, there is a $400 per coupon charge.

Once designed there is a yearly fee of $3,200 in one of our specialty databases on the main page, and $1,500 minimum for up to 20 sub pages, and $75 for each subsequent sub page, and $500 for each niched subsection within the footers of the Jetstreams.com hotel booking engines.

Occasionally we create destination coupon packs from various merchants for a specific destination, such as Reno, Las Vegas, Orlando, Paris, London. A destination pack is really a mini website of coupons specific to that destination.

$20 per thousand coupons downloaded from any of our databases. $500 minimum fee paid in advance.

A ful sized webpage is set at a screen size of 580 to 620 pixels, and is equivalent to two (2) full 8-1/2 inch by 11 inch sheets of paper, plus one or two images, banners, or one skyscraper photo, and can include a contact form and an email link or website link to your email account. The webpage ad can be linked to the various databases within our array of websites.

Jetstreams.com can create, or your ad agency can create your own, 1-10 page or more brochure style ad or mini catalog, that can be included as a link or button or banner link or popup, or other interactive vehicle within Jetstreams.com, Cabinweb.com, Jetsetters Magazine (jetsettersmagazine.com), or webbandstand.com or other databases offered by us, including footer ads within our booking engines.

We can create your own brochure-style mini website brochure or catalog, complete with your images, your text, video, midi files, audio, your contact information and your own domain name.

Brochures can include audio files, videos files, photos, and other interactive objects, including: forms except for reservation booking forms. We can create forms or "email this to a Friend" scenarios for your advertising. Your business will receive a FREE link from your business listing in jetstreams.com directory to your website. You also receive two special links within jetstreams.com specific databases. Your online brochure will be a fully functioning, free-standing, mini website that includes all programming and ready to upload to either your server or ours. You receive overall marketing concept, including writing, artwork and digital imaging and graphics, and programming.

Changes: You receive up to 50 minor text changes prior to programming and up to one major copy rewrites prior to programming. You receive up to 10 minor design or art changes prior to programming, and up to 2 major design changes prior to programming. Reprogramming changes are at an additional fee, depending on degree of changes.

$15,000 per year for a 10-25 page online brochure. Pre-Press pieces that reflect the same style and feel as the online brochure can also be created in full color, and we will provide you with all the color seperation plates for an additional $800.

$25,000 per year for a 25-35 page online brochure. Pre-Press piece that reflect the same style and feel as the online brochure can also be created in full color, and Jetstreams will provide you with all the color seperation plates for an additional $1,200.

Your full-size banner ad can be inserted in our monthly travel discount newsletter. Ads no larger than 468 pixels x 60 pixels accepted, with a maximum 40k file size. You d agency can design it or we can design it, and it is placed in the jetstreams.com monthly newsletter. You banner is hotlinked to where you want it to go.

Minimum fee each newsletter $500 - On a one year contract.

A good rail or skyscraper ad will present the user with an opportunity for action, sign up for a listserv, take a quiz/poll, locate a store within a specific zip code, something that will take them directly to the information they want.

Rail and skyscraper ads have the ability to animate or use streaming Flash 3.0 or QuickTime 3.0 (or higher) provided that it is tel-targeted, meaning a static image loads in and nothing plays until a user clicks on the ad. These plug-in dependent ads must have a default gif for the non-enabled browsers.

JavaScripts are OK as long as they work on all browser versions 4.0 and higher. The same goes for DHTML. And of course, if a script or code doesn't work with older browsers, it must degrade gracefully so that it doesn't appear broken but instead defaults to text links or an image. Because of the heavy integration into the page, we must charge to build the rail or frame ad, but you can supply the code or image or workable banner.

All Rail or Skyscraper ads are on a one year contract. You can change your ad three times per contract at a change fee of $500 per change. You must supply the code, graphics, or banner. Otherwise we charge $1,500 for design, programming and setup per rail ad.

Rail or Skyscraper Ads run at the Rate of $4,500 per year in your designated niche database or up to 10 rails of the same ad within 10 Jetsetters Magazine features. There is an additional rate of $400 per rail or skyscraper ad if running a different ad in each niche database or Jetsetters Magazine feature story.

This area is great for special travel promotions, changing ad campaigns, one time offers, contests and giveaways, last minute bargains, and other timely information, entertainment or advertising.

Minimum one year sponsorships can include contests, giveaways, monthly travel promotions in the databases of jetstreams.com, articles in Jetsetters Magazine, and email marketing within our opt-in monthly newsletter.

Your full-page ad is displayed, and/or linked into or from a specific jetstreams.com database, such as beaches, cabinweb.com, webbandstand.com, cruises database, hotels database, etc. Your ad runs across all subsections of the specifically chosen database. Example: Rates include your full page ad run as a link or pop up window from a frame in cabinweb.com main sections, such as Hawaii, Alaska, Kentucky, Yellowstone National Park, etc. and all cabinweb.com subsections such as in a footer ad or link in, or within South Dakota's Custer State Park, or California's Redwood' State Park. When purchasing an entire database package, it includes all main and subsections of that database.

Main Section Programming Lead Time: Minimum 90 days to implement. Think on a quarterly timeframe.

Descripton of a Subsection within a Database. A subsection can include just a state park or provincial national park, parish, marine park, or community or chamber of commerce section within the cabinweb.com main databaste.
