The Travel Writers Network was created for our team of professional travel, entertainment, sports, and cultural writers from around the world. Our membership includes many notable writers and editors, including the former Managing Editor of Ski America Magazine, Jim Hollister, plus editors of major newspapers and regional tabloids. All of our members have one thing in common, they are professional writers who love to travel to bring back unique features while sending new business to the travel trade.  All of our writers have diverse talents and personalities.

Many of our writers have won distinguished writing awards, such as Edwin Ali, our Caribbean and Florida Correspondent, who also covers Moslem issues throughout the world.

Many of our writers have interests of expertise in certain areas, such as Rob LaGrone, our accomplished classical music, river runner, and scuba diving writer. Rob has been recognized by the Las Vegas Philharmonic for his splendid coverage of their performances. Wouldn't you want to read a feature from someone who has an excellent expertise in the subject?

Carolyn Proctor is a respected novel writer who loves to travel around the globe with her comedian husband. She also writes for many major publications, including Nevada Woman Magazine. Carolyn has barged France and went to cooking school in Paris with Jetsetters Magazine, among many other adventures. She also runs her own writing business, and is a wonderful entertainment writer.

Josh Edelson was fresh out of communication school when he was sent out on his first adventure with Jetsetters Magazine, and he has been writing his way around the globe ever since. He has learned to surf, went pub crawling in Dublin, and rafted the Kern River. Over the years Josh has built up a fine portfolio of memories.

Mari Clifton is a wonderful writer and professional videographer and you will see more of her work in coming years on our new TV channel that will be video-on-demand from www.jetsetters.tv, presently in development.

Janice Wilson has been writing about eclectic hotels for Jetsetters Magazine for many years and she loves the luxurious tennis and golf resorts and spas, but she is also an accomplished entertainment writer. Janice also contributes to major women's magazines and runs her own communications business.

Linda Lane is also a lover of hotels, and one of her features sent more than $10,000 in bookings to the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. Linda has also covered many major theater and revue openings in Las Vegas and around the country.

And then there is Lena Hunt Mabra, who is living the island life on Cozumel, where she has learned to snuba, scuba, and deal a few times with hurricanes. Her adventures with Jetsetters Magazine have carried her to the Korakia in Palm Springs, to kayaking, hiking, biking, surfing the California coast, and to fine dining with her husband and kids. Lena has the true spirit of an adventurous travel writer. She also runs her own writing business.

Lena's best friend is Bobbi Buchanan, who has written Jetsetters Magazine features about hunting and fishing in Africa where she grew up as a missionary's daughter; now living in Arkansas, Bobbi recently went gator growling on an airboat in the swamps of Florida. No one surpasses Bobbi's passion in the field.

Jetsetters Magazine came across Kim and Don Tatera while they were swabbing the decks on the Dirigo II, a schooner sailing the California Catalina Islands. Many of the Tatera's superb hotel features have sent thousands of dollars in new bookings to the hotels. Kim is an English teacher and Don has a special knack for detail writing because he is also an interior designer. And they love to cook and drink fine wine and sail, too!

Misha Troyan is an engineer that is also an accomplished scuba diver and cultural writer. He has been on many adventures with Jetsetters Magazine, including surf school, cultural events, and rafting and scuba diving in Costa Rica. Misha is well respected in the San Diego arts and entertainment scene.

Joanna Niebler has been a member with Jetsetters Magazine for many years, and she is a talented fashion designer, but not just the runway type; she has been in the field with wine glass in hand running down the trails of the Yucatan, and in the dark, looking for the mysteries of Chichen Itza, and then it was dog sledding in Canada.

Joanna's friend, Jay Tradler, has created numerous hotel features about resorts in Nashville, Los Angeles, and other points. As a fashion maven, Jay's special talent is checking out the newest in boutique hotels.

Jetsetters Magazine came across Carol Sorgen while touring in Ireland. Carol runs her own professional writing business on the East Coast, but her passion is Europe, especially Paris. Carol speaks fluent French and her latest features are about the Paris Warwick Hotels.

Karin Leipiri also runs her own professional writing business on the East Coast, and she prefers family traveling with her kids, or searching out new fine dining establishments with her husband in the DC area and points beyond.
